I'm the founder of Books & Works, and I've spent more than 20 years in the financial industry helping business owners streamline their finances, stay organized, and run more efficiently through virtual financial services.
I started out keeping books accurate and organized, and over time I expanded into Fractional CFO work, so I could help clients not only understand where they stand, but plan where they're going.

What is the difference between a bookkeeper and a Fractional CFO?

Can I hire you for just one service, or do I have to sign up for both?
You can absolutely hire us for just one. Bookkeeping and Fractional CFO services are offered separately, so you only pay for the support your business needs. If your needs change, you can add the other service anytime, and we'll help you decide what fits during your free consultation.
Do I need a CPA if I already have a bookkeeper and a CFO?
In most cases, yes. A bookkeeper keeps your books accurate and a Fractional CFO guides your financial strategy, but a CPA handles tax preparation, filing, and tax planning, and can represent you with the IRS. We work alongside your CPA, so they receive clean, organized records at tax time.
